According to a news release from the Moffat County Sheriff’s Department, local law enforcement officials are assisting their Wyoming counterparts in what is being called a “critical incident” near Baggs.
The Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to avoid travel in the Bagg’s area, due to several road closures, and a heavy law enforcement presence in the area.
Responding Colorado agencies include the Moffat County Sheriff’s Office, Craig Police Department, Colorado State Patrol, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Routt County Sheriff’s Office and Steamboat Springs Police Department.
This is a developing story. More information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
