In Moffat County, women make up nearly half of the population. Their health and wellbeing are central to the strength of our community. Access to high-quality, specialized women’s health care close to home is not just convenient, it’s essential.
Earlier this year, Memorial Regional Health welcomed Lisa Oldham, MD, a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist with more than two decades of experience providing women’s health care across all stages of life. Dr. Oldham brings a distinguished clinical and academic background to MRH, with expertise spanning general gynecology, ambulatory and surgical care and pediatric and adolescent gynecology.
At Memorial Regional Health, Dr. Oldham provides gynecologic and women’s health care, including preventive screenings, adolescent and adult gynecology, family planning, fertility counseling and menopause management, along with advanced diagnostics such as pelvic imaging and colposcopy.
Her clinical focus includes evaluation and treatment of complex gynecologic conditions such as abnormal uterine bleeding, endometriosis, fibroids, polycystic ovarian syndrome, menstrual disorders and post-menopausal concerns. Dr. Oldham also brings experience in minimally invasive and open benign gynecologic surgery, allowing more women in the Craig community to receive specialized surgical care close to home.
“I’m looking forward to contributing to Craig’s rich foundation and history with a medical practice approach that seeks what is uniquely and characteristically Craig into what is solidly universal in supporting the health and wellbeing of women in their communities,” said Dr. Oldham.
Throughout her career, Dr. Oldham has held faculty appointments at academic institutions, including Rush University Medical Center and Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, where she taught and mentored medical students and residents. She has been recognized for excellence in teaching and leadership, including serving as Administrative Chief Resident and receiving a Golden Apple Award for medical education.
Dr. Oldham earned her medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis after completing her undergraduate studies at Stanford University. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Rush University Medical Center, followed by specialized post-residency training in pediatric and adolescent gynecology. She is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Oldham has contributed to peer-reviewed research, national presentations and community health initiatives, with particular involvement in education, bleeding disorders, adolescent health and preventive care. Two years ago, she became a certified Chopra meditation instructor. Her career reflects a strong commitment to patient-centered care, education and community engagement.
