Yampa Valley Sustainability Council has announced the “Insight: Art for Climate Action” fundraiser on Saturday, June 29, at 5 p.m. at the Larson Barn in Steamboat Springs. This annual fundraiser aims to raise awareness and support for YVSC’s efforts to reduce emissions and increase climate resilience throughout the Yampa Valley.

The fundraiser has brought together over 40 artists who have created over 60 pieces of art inspired by YVSC’s work encompassing resilient land and water, energy and transportation, waste and community engagement.

The month-long exhibition will be displayed at Steamboat Creates (1001 13th St.) until June 27. Additionally, all of the pieces included in the exhibition are available to bid on in the silent auction, regardless of attendance at the event.

All pieces featured in the exhibition will be up for auction both online and in-person at the fundraiser event. Bidders can participate in the auction online now at Events.Handbid.com/auctions/insight-art-for-climate-action.
