Culvert Installation photographer George Welch took this picture of the east side of 500 block of Yampa Avenue in 1915. The truck was carrying a large drainage culvert on its bed, indicating that improvements were being made to local roads. The Chamberlain Gray Drug Store is seen at the right in now Aero Care at 512 Yampa Ave. The rubble behind the truck bed is the remains of Craig's first business building built in 1889, which burned in November 1914.

Craig Airport beacon light installation by Moffat County workers and Airport committee members – Ron Scribner, and Walt Zimmerman identified- Cedar Mountain in distance – Empire Courier article Jan. 9, 1964. Today this beacon is located at the Wyman Museum of east of Craig, Colorado.
