The Craig Airport beacon located southwest of town is seen being installed by Moffat County workers and airport committee members Ron Scribner and Walt Zimmerman – Empire Courier article Jan. 9, 1964. This beacon was replaced a few years ago and is now at the Wyman Museum east of Craig.
