This is the train wreck of a Denver Rio Grande engine just east of Craig in August 1970. The wreck was caused by a culvert being washed away due to a cloud bust. Today this is the location of the First Street bypass.

The Reeve Ranch located south of Craig in 1949. The picture was taken on Waddle Creek looking north towards William’s Fork Mountains. For the last 75 years it has been the Gilmar Ranch.
