Skim milk offers the same vitamins as other kinds of milk and minerals with zero fat/saturated fat, 7 grams protein, and 90 calories per 8 ounces. There are no “empty calories” in this product. Every calorie consumed provides needed nutrition.
Milk is loaded with minerals essential to our bone, muscle, and heart health such as calcium, vitamin D, magnesium and phosphorus. What is also a plus is that this is the perfect combo of minerals for maximum absorption. For example, vitamin D must be present to absorb calcium; magnesium also aids in calcium absorption.
