Student caught with pot

A 15-year-old Moffat County High School student was issued a summons for possession of a small amount of marijuana and tobacco, the Craig Police Department reported.

The juvenile was found with a pack of cigarettes in his pocket.

Possible penalties upon conviction include a fine between $75 and $300, and possible community service.



The juvenile was reported to Principal Jane Krogman and the school’s resource officer Jesse McAvoy.
