Star student
Sierra Arellano is a little shy and a lot humble.
But, her friends say that’s only around strangers.
Around friends, she’s known to be sweet and talkative.
“If you want her to do something, she’ll basically do it no matter what,” Cassy Stalcar said.
Arellano is a fifth-grade student at Craig Intermediate School who has stood out as a person of high character, has demonstrated maturity and responsibility coupled with a great attitude toward others.
“She exemplifies our efforts toward developing a positive, welcoming attitude at our school,” Principal Don Davidson said.
Arellano said she likes math and science and earns As. She likes to “mess around with her friends” at the skatepark and pet shop.
She enjoys volleyball and basketball and, now that she’s used to it, being in middle school.
She admits, though, that having a locker contributed a lot to that feeling.
