As November start to wane we celebrate Veteran’s Day. Thanksgiving coming up soon, Thursday, Nov. 2.

The memory of family, pumpkin pie, sharing news, etc. Don’t forget to give thanks for our blessings of food, etc.

McDonald’s Senior Breakfast is Wednesday, Nov. 21.



No meals or bus service at Sunset Meadows I on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 22-23 due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

AARP meeting on Nov. 26 at Sunset Meadows I at 2 p.m.



Happy Birthday to Wilma Hettinger, Irene Beard, Amanda Foote and Alma Sadvar.

The Christmas for Seniors Program done by the generous citizens of Moffat County would like to make your Christmas a little merrier.

But we need your help. Please give us an idea of what you would like to receive this year. The Christmas for Seniors Program is not a governmental agency nor is it governmentally funded.

This program is for seniors 62 years of age or older and you must be a resident of Moffat County. All information is confidential.

Forms can be picked up at Sunset Meadows I or II, 633 Ledford St., Craig or call Janette Harris at 970-326-8858 or 970-824-3660. Complete and return the form. Application deadline is December 10, 2012.

I give thanks to and for all the people who help by giving in various ways to help others without them lots of people wouldn’t have the help or whatever is needed to be done to get it done.
