Resident offended by letter writer’s comparison
To the Editor:
I’m responding to Mr. Bill and his good friend Doug (March 28).
I am one of those cave-living, camel-loving non-Americans who lives on County Road 29.
I would love to have some nice kids out here to see how country life should be lived, but I only have a one-room cave.
But, I haven’t lost hope yet. Maybe you could set up a nice playhouse in your back yard and invite Doug and all the nice kids over to see the camel-looking elk. Then you could load Doug and all the nice kids up in a van for a drive out on County Road 29 and see how all the al-Qaida leaders live. That should be enough to make all the kids never want to see or live in the country again.
