Friday, March 10
Jay Allen Garcia, 21, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail on suspicion of shoplifting and false reporting to authorities.

Saturday, March 11
Gary D. Gerber, 34, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail to serve time for a previous offense.

Friday, March 10
Officers received a report of domestic violence.
Officers received a report of property damage.
Officers received a report of theft.
Officers arrested a man on suspicion of theft.
Officers received a report of a stolen vehicle.
Officers received an animal complaint.



Saturday, March 11
Officers received a report of theft.
Officers received a report of a hit-and-run accident.
Officers received a 911 hang-up.
Officers received an animal complaint.
Officers received a report of property damage.

Sunday, March 12
Officers received a report of vandalism.
Officers received a report of gunshots.

Craig Fire/Rescue
Saturday, March 11
Firefighters responded to a house fire at 1132 Aspen Ave. The fire destroyed the home, but no one was injured.

Sunday, March 12
Firefighters responded to a rollover accident on U.S. Highway 40 west of Craig. The driver of the truck refused treatment.

Anyone who witnesses or has information about a crime is encouraged to call Moffat County Crime Stoppers at 824-3535. The phone line does not have caller identification. All callers remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward.
