A Clinical Pastoral Education information-sharing seminar will be held at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 657 Green St. in Craig, on July 8.

The Rev. Foy Richey, President of Rocky Mountain Pastoral Care and Training Associates, an ACPE-CPSP accredited pastoral care organization, will host this seminar.

The purpose of the information-sharing seminar is to give an overview of CPE, which is a graduate theological education teaching the arts and skills of pastoral and spiritual care.

Six to seven students (clergy-laity) will be chosen to participate in the first training group, which will be conducted on a monthly basis for nine months with trainees bringing to the seminar experiences of community-based and church ministries for which pastoral supervision and supportive learning will be offered.

Graduate theological education credit may be obtained for this training for those enrolled in graduate seminary or theological education training.

For more information, call F. Neil Folks at (970) 824-0312 or Foy Richey at (303) 797-1389.
