Last call: Have a job that you don’t have time to get done? Come buy an FFA member to help you out. The Moffat County FFA will be holding its annual labor auction Thursday. Chili will be served at 6 p.m., and the auction will begin at 6:30 p.m. FFA members will be auctioned off and required to work eight hours for the buyer. FFA hopes to see you there.

‘Good to Great’ meeting scheduled for Thursday
An organizational meeting for a “Good to Great” discussion group will be at the school administration build, 775 Yampa Ave., on Thursday. Anyone who has read or plans to read “Good to Great’ by Jim Collins is invited to attend. Pete Bergmann, superintendent of Moffat County Public Schools is the facilitator for the discussion. Anyone unable to attend the meeting should call Pres Askew at 826-0412.

Moffat County budget available online
For the first time, the entire Moffat County budget can be accessed online. Go to the county Web site at http://www.co.moffat.co.us and go the menu bar and choose “administration.” County officials think this will give residents the opportunity to look at the budget and help reduce the costs for hard copies.



Wool growers group’s annual meeting Saturday
The Routt-Moffat Woolgrowers Associations annual meeting is at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 26 at the Moffat County Extension Room at 539 Breeze St. All woolgrowers are invited to attend. Call Gary Visintainer at 824-4159.

Dessert Extravaganza today at Center of Craig
The Yampa Valley Pregnancy Center will host its third annual Dessert Extravaganza from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Center of Craig, 601 Yampa Ave. This year the dessert is angel food cake with berries. Proceeds support the center’s activities.



Partners needs donations for March yard sale
Moffat County Partners is collecting donations for a winter yard sale planned for March. Donations support youth mentoring and alternative recreation. Donate sellable items (no large appliances or tires) to Moffat County Partners winter yard sale. All proceeds are tax deductible. For drop-off information, call Melia Bisbee 826-4261.
