Moffat County Sheriff’s Office hosts ‘Cops, Kids & Vets Fishing’ event
The Moffat County Sheriff’s Office invites the community to join us for a fun and meaningful evening at the Cops, Kids & Vets Fishing Event.
The event will be held on Friday, May 8, from 5-6 p.m. at Little Rascal Pond, located at the Moffat County Public Safety Center.
This free community event is designed to bring together local law enforcement, youth and veterans in a relaxed outdoor setting. Attendees can enjoy fishing, prizes, hotdogs and time spent connecting with one another.
“This event is about building relationships and giving back,” said Sheriff Chip McIntyre. “It’s an opportunity for kids to spend time with law enforcment, for us to recognize our veterans, and for everyone to enjoy a great evening together.”
Fishing gear will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own equipment if they prefer.
The event is open to children and veterans and families are encouraged to attend.
