Letter: Cancer Society of Moffat County grateful for community’s help
The Cancer Society of Moffat County would like to thank the staff of Victory Motors of Craig and the Maneotis family for hosting the annual “CANCER” drive held last year on July 23-24.
Rick Upchurch — a former Denver Broncos football player — and his family participate annually, driving from Las Vegas to support this event, and have become part of the Cancer Survivors and friends of Moffat County.
Funds raised were from businesses, sponsors and donors and all those who participated in these events. This year the Victory Motors Cancer Drive is scheduled for July 21, 22 and 23. A comedy show has been added to the weekend events. We appreciate the help from businesses, sponsors and donors in the past and look forward to working with them again in 2023.
