“How do you get a driver’s license?” “How do I get Medicaid for my newborn child?” “What is the process of registering a car?” Each country, each state has a different process for navigating systems, and it can be confusing at times.

On Dec. 20, 2022, Integrated Community opened its doors to the community of Moffat County to provide assistance with these questions. Our mission is to assist and support immigrants as they integrate, contribute to and maintain their independence in our Northwest Colorado community.

Aligned with this mission, we have expanded into Moffat County. We now offer our resource and referral program, immigration assistance, interpretation and translation services and legal clinics.

Integrated Community has become an invaluable resource over the past year, providing assistance to clients from over 52 countries. The success of our initiatives is the result of collaborative efforts with key stakeholders such as the city of Craig, Moffat County, Craig Chamber of Commerce, Moffat County School District, United Way of the Yampa Valley, The Health Partnership and other organizations.

The organization’s impact is evident in the numbers: over 746 intakes and 646 dedicated hours supporting 223 clients. This achievement underscores the commitment of businesses, city and county stakeholders and nonprofit organizations that have played a pivotal role in making these services accessible to the community.

Integrated Community extends its gratitude to the Colorado Health Foundation for its support, which has been instrumental in our expansion. As we celebrate our one-year anniversary, we reaffirm our commitment to building strong relationships with Moffat County. We encourage community members to reach out with any questions and remain dedicated to our mission of facilitating integration and independence.

In conclusion, Integrated Community’s one-year milestone in Moffat County is a testament to the positive impact we have had on the lives of residents. Our dedication, coupled with the support of various stakeholders, has laid a foundation for continued success in providing essential services to the community.
