Hayden Town Council candidates face no opposition

John F. Russell
Steamboat Springs — With no opposition, the Hayden Town Council races will not appear on the ballot this November.
There were four council positions up for election this year, and all the incumbents have decided to run again, with no one else stepping forward.
Jim Haskins will serve another term as mayor. The three council members who will retain their seats are Lorraine Johnson, Tim Redmond and Dallas Robinson.
Town Clerk Sharon Johnson said that by not holding an election, the town will save between $1,000 and $2,000.
