Moffat County Commission meeting

When: 8:30 a.m. Tuesday

Where: Moffat County Courthouse, 221 W. Victory Way


• 8:30 to 8:35 a.m. Call to order, Pledge of Allegiance, moment of silence

• 8:35 to 8:45 a.m. Consent agenda:

— Review and sign the following documents: Delta Dental business associate agreement, KPP benefit change request, US Signs & Safety credit application, core services mental health contract addendum with Gary Gurney, monthly treasurer’s report, grant contract for Maybell sanitation facility, hole coring contract for HVAC vents.

• 8:45 to 9 a.m. General discussion:

— Note commissioners may discuss any topic relevant to county business whether or not the topic has been specifically noted on the agenda.

• 9 to 9:15 a.m. Discussion with Shelley Pankey, of the finance department

— Discuss status of YTime timekeeping software.

• 9:15 to 9:30 a.m. Discussion with Mindy Curtis, of the finance department

— Present 2013 proposed budget.

• 9:30 to 9:45 a.m. Discussion with Rick Holford, of the Employee Retirement Board

— Discuss resolution regarding employee retirement status.

• 9:45 to 10 a.m. Discussion with the Board of County Commissioners

— Discuss Department of Social Services director candidate selection.

• 10 to 10:30 a.m. Discussion with Bill Mack and Linda DeRose, of road and bridge

— Discuss replacement of wrecked snowplow/water tank truck.

— Present monthly reports.

— Approve renewal of a 3.2 percent beer retail liquor store licenses for Kum & Go locations at 895 Yampa Ave., 1302 W. Victory Way and 700 E. Victory Way. No cause shown for denial.

— Approve renewal of a tavern liquor license for the OP Bar N’ Grill, Inc. No cause shown for denial.

— Approve renewal of a retail liquor store license for Elk Liquor Store, Inc. No cause shown for denial.

• Audiences

— Bill Guess is requesting a temporary tavern liquor license permit transfer for the former Golden Cavvy. The location’s new name will be The Baker House Bar & Grill.

• Other business:

— Award bid for a commercial pool heater for the wave pool.

— Second reading of Ordinance Number 1020 to increase municipal court costs from $15 to $20.

— First reading of Ordinance Number 1021 to adopt the 2013 City of Craig budget.

— Emergency reading of Ordinance Number 1022 imposing a moratorium on the operation of marijuana establishments pursuant to Colorado voter passage of Amendment 64.

— First reading of Ordinance Number 1023 amending section 9.30.030 of the Craig Municipal Code concerning possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.

— First reading of Ordinance Number 1024 amending sections 13.48.010 and 13.16.010 of the Craig Municipal Code to increase water and wastewater rates to provide sufficient revenues to maintain the balance of the water and wastewater enterprise funds.
