Moffat County High School graduating seniors Jenna Stiefel, Stephanie Brown, Doyle Moon and Aaron Sanchez are this year’s recipients of the Joe Janosec Memorial Scholarship.
Each will receive a $750 scholarship.
The scholarships were made possible by donations to the memorial fund.
Children and their education were of huge importance to Janosec, who spent 30 years as a teacher, coach and principal in Moffat County.
Each recipient possesess certain attributes that Janosec would have found admirable.
A scholarship also was awarded to Jason R. Jones, a graduate of Little Snake River Valley High School in Baggs, Wyo.
