The fourth and final installment of the Downtown Business Association’s summer Food Truck Carnival arrives this weekend.

The event series, which has been held the first Saturday of each month this summer, will see its 2023 finale on Saturday. From 11 a.m.-7 p.m., food truck vendors will be serving up their speciality dishes on the 500 block of Yampa Avenue.

The street will remain open to through traffic throughout the day. The trucks will be parallel parked along the curb to offer easy pedestrian access and walk-up ordering from the sidewalk.

Patrons will have their choice of five food trucks: Taqueria El Autentico, Double Dub’s Fais Do-Do, Skippa & Lisa Island Cuisine, and ChuckWagon Grille.

Downtown Business Association Event Coordinator/Treasurer Kandee Dilldine is enthusiastic about the carnival’s success over the summer. She says the series has been well-received by vendors and diners alike, and she’s excited for Saturday’s event and the return of the carnival next summer.
