David Lynn Gobbo, 65, of Delta, Colo., died Wednesday Feb. 9, 2005, at St. Mary’s Hospital and Medical Center in Grand Junction, Colo.

David Lynn Gobbo was born Oct. 13, 1939, in Grand Juntion to Louie and Dorcas (Denton) Gobbo. He attended Appleton Elementary School and Fruita High School. He served in the U.S. Marines. He previously was married to the late Carol Harris. He is survived by his wife, Aurora Ross; one daughter, Shanna Gobbo, of Cresco, Iowa; one son, David Louis Gobbo, and wife Penny of Fort Lupton, Colo.; three grand children; one brother, Don Gobbo, and wife Norma of Grand Junction; one sister, Nancy Evans and husband Jerry of Las Vegas; two aunts and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Military graveside service will be held Saturday, Feb. 12, at 2:30 p.m. at the Olathe Cemetery in Olathe, Colo.

Visitation will be at the Olathe Cemetery at 2 p.m. before the graveside service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of David Gobbo to the American Heart Association, Southwest Region, P.O. Box 474, Grand Junction, CO 81502.
