The Craig branch of Moffat County Libraries, 570 Green St., is closed for inventory.

9:30 to 11 a.m. and 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association is offering free immunizations to children younger than 5 who are in need of DTaP, MMR, Hep A, B, HIB, Prevnar, polio, Rotavirus and flu at the South Routt Community Center (above the library). Parents must take their child’s immunization records with them to the clinic. Call the VNA at 879-1632.



10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Craig Elks Lodge hosts a fundraiser yard sale at 517 Breeze St. Donations are accepted, and shoppers are welcome to browse. The event raises money to buy holiday presents for the Toys for Tots program. Call Dora at 824-2251.

Noon. The Red Hat Society hosts a potluck at the Craig Fire Station, 419 Yampa Ave. All chapters are invited. Take a dish to share. Call Cheryl at 824-2567 or Jaci at 272-3253.



5 to 7 p.m. SHARE Craig, a program that offers low-cost groceries to residents, has registration day at St. Michael Catholic Church, 678 School St. Call Karen at 824-7939.

6:30 to 7:30 p.m. An informational meeting about We See D.C. is in the cafeteria at Craig Middle School, 915 Yampa Ave. Any CMS student or Moffat County High School freshman interested in the trip to Washington, D.C., from June 3 to 8 should attend the mandatory meeting with at least one parent. 6 p.m. Moffat County High School hosts a senior parent meeting in the high school library, 900 Finley Lane, to help walk students and parents through the college admission process. Call Paula Duzik at 824-7036.

6:30 p.m. Northwest Colorado Energy Producers Association meets at The Ore House at the Pine Grove, 1465 Pine Grove Road, Steamboat Springs. Guest speaker is Gary Magno, principal environmental analyst for Xcel Energy in Denver, who presents “Emerging Air Quality Issues Impacting Western Utilities.” The cost is $32 and includes dinner, tax and tip. 7 p.m. The Yampa Valley Sewing Guild meets at the Boys & Girls Club of Craig, 1324 E. U.S. Highway 40. All seamstresses are welcome. Call Pat Pearce at 824-3324.
