Advocates Crisis Support Services is looking for on-call hotline volunteers for the domestic violence/sexual assault program. A 40-hour training is required. Call Karen at 824-9709.
The Visiting Nurse Association is seeking women ages 40 to 63 who have not scheduled a mammogram or women’s health exam because of income restrictions. Women who need to schedule appointments should call the VNA at 824-8233 or 871-7659.
If you served in the Vietnam or Korean wars and were exposed to Agent Orange, you need to get on the Agent Orange registry. Visit the Veterans Service Office at the Colorado Workforce Center or call 824-3246, ext. 23.

8:30 to 11 a.m. Mothers Of Preschoolers meets the first and third Wednesday of every month. The meeting is open to all mothers with children ages 5 and younger. Breakfast and coffee is served at the meeting. Day care is provided by the group, which meets in the basement of Calvary Baptist Church, 1050 Yampa Ave. For information, call Erin Horst, 824-5349.
7 p.m. The VFW Ladies Auxiliary No. 4265 hosts turkey bingo at the VFW hall, 419 E. Victory Way. The group uses all proceeds for community activities.
Thursday, Nov. 17
7 p.m. The Yampa Valley Chapter of Sweet Adelines International, an all-female, four-part a cappella choir, rehearses every Thursday. Everyone is welcome to attend. Call Director Denise Whitney at 824-8326.
7:30 p.m. Moffat County High School students will perform the musical “Aida” in the school’s auditorium. Tickets are $5 each.
Friday, Nov. 18
10 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be a flu shot clinic at The Visiting Nurse Association. No appointment is necessary. Adult shots are $18, and children’s shots range from free to $15 on a sliding fee schedule.
7:30 p.m. Moffat County High School students will perform the musical “Aida” in the auditorium. Tickets are $5 each.
Saturday, Nov. 19
9 a.m. to 2 p.m. St. Michael’s Church will host its Altar & Rosary’s annual bazaar, 678 School St. Breakfast rolls and Mexican lunch will be offered. For information, call 824-6109.
10 a.m. Hands-On Quilters will meet at the Craig Fire Station, 419 Yampa Ave. for a catch-up session. Participants are encouraged to bring unfinished projects. For information, call 824-2567.
