8 a.m. The Seventh Annual Arroyo Memorial Golf Tournament takes place at Yampa Valley Golf Course. Proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Craig. Sign up and pay fees at the golf course. The tournament is a four-person scramble. Call Joe Arroyo at 639-2548.

Noon to 2 p.m. A free picnic will be held to celebrate Rosie Crosthwaite’s retirement from a 27-year career as a teacher at St. Mark’s Preschool. All former students and friends of Crosthwaite are invited to attend. Hot dogs, chili, chips and ice cream will be served at the event at St. Mark’s, 657 Green Street. Monday, June 15

1 p.m. The Moffat County Commission will host a workshop in the Moffat County Courthouse second floor conference room to discuss running an all mail-in ballot election this year. The meeting will include election judges and several officials from the county, city, the local Democrat and Republican parties, Moffat County School District, Independent Life Center, Craig Fire/Rescue and the U.S. Postal Service. The public is welcome to attend. Call 824-5517 for more information.

5:45 p.m. Craig Parks and Recreation baseball is at Woodbury Park.

6 p.m. Craig Parks and Recreation baseball at Loudy-Simpson Park.

6 p.m. The Craig Youth Hockey Association hosts its monthly meeting at the Loudy-Simpson Park pavilion. The meeting is open to the public. Call Joanie at 629-8322.

7 p.m. An OHV club meets in the Moffat County High School library, 900 Finley Lane. Anyone interested in becoming a member is welcome to attend. The OHV club will include people interested in Jeeps, dirt bikes, UTVs, ATVs, as well as riding and maintaining trails in the area. Call DeLaine Brown at 629-8936.

Wednesday, June 17

11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association, 745 Russell Street, hosts a drop-in sexually transmitted disease clinic. The clinic is free and confidential and will include screening for various sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV. No appointment is necessary. Call 824-8233.

2 to 3 p.m. The Express Yourself Youth Club meets at the Craig branch of the Moffat County Libraries, 570 Green St. The club, which is open to anyone ages 8 to 18, explores literary, musical and dramatic arts through books, guest speakers and other mediums. The theme of today’s event is music and drawing. Call 824-5116.
