Drunk hit-and-run: On the record, jail report for April 18 to 24

2:13 a.m. On the 900 block of West First Street, officers responded to a report of a hit-and-run crash. A grey, SUV-type vehicle struck another vehicle and left. A male party was arrested for reckless driving, driving under the influence and driving with excessive alcohol content.



11:53 a.m. At Douglas Street and West First Street, officers initiated a traffic stop. A 29-year-old male was arrested for possession of schedule I/II drugs and drug paraphernalia and violation of bail bonds. A 26-year-old male was also arrested on drug charges and violation of bail bonds.

1:46 p.m. At the Public Safety Center, officers took a report of a sexual assault.



2:18 p.m. On the 600 block of East Victory Way, officers responded to a report of harassment. A party that lives in Craig has an ex out of Wyoming that’s been texting, calling and making threats.

6:30 p.m. At Columbine Apartments, officers responded to a report of domestic violence. A woman was heard screaming. Officers contacted a man and some kids, but did not find the woman and no evidence of a crime was found.

6:37 p.m. On the 500 block of Tucker Street, officers responded to a report of theft. Two vehicles owned by the same person were broken into. Some loose change, lighter and pocket knife were taken.

7:14 p.m. At the Public Safety Center, officers took a report of a wallet that had been stolen from a vehicle while the vehicle was being serviced. The incident is still under investigation.

10:30 p.m. On the 0 block of East Ninth Street, officers responded to a report of a verbal disturbance involving three parties arguing. All agreed to calm down and go their separate ways.

Thodore Raymond Kalgren, 52, of Dinosaur, was arrested on charges of alleged driving under restraint.

Candace Marie McRae, 38, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail on a courtesy hold for driving under the influence.

Jeremy H. Yazzie, 22, of Fruitland, New Mexico, was booked into Moffat County Jail to serve time for a previous offense.

Danae Danielle Hicks, 30, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail to serve time for a previous offense.

James Robert Manseau, 31, of Mona, Utah, was arrested on suspicion of prohibited use of a weapon.

Yevone C. McKenzie, 39, of Steamboat Springs, was booked into Moffat County Jail on a courtesy hold for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Steven Lewis, 70, of Grand Junction, was arrested on suspicion of driving under restraint.

Todd Edward Smith, 45, of Craig, was arrested on suspicion of possession of schedule I/II drugs and drug paraphernalia and on a warrant for parole violation.

Faustina Marie Delacruz, 38, of Craig, was summoned for violation of custody.

Jesse Lee Martin, 35, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail on a parole hold.

Eduardo Popoca, 34, of Craig, was arrested on suspicion of violation of a restraining order.

Thomas Ray Orwig, 49, of Craig, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Oswaldo Mancilla Sanchez, 26, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail on an ICE hold.

Michelle Rae Sayers, 26, of Craig, was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault, domestic violence, obstructing a peace officer and violation of a restraining order.

Talin R. Behrman, 24, of Maybell, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of liquor.

Jose Antonio Perez-Esparza, 27, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail on an ICE hold.

Brian P. Demean, 43, of Craig, was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, child abuse and criminal mischief.

Valentin Cagrera Galicia, of Craig, was arrested on suspicion of reckless driving and driving under the influence of alcohol.

Jade Kavick Jackson, 26, transient, was arrested on suspicion of possession of schedule I/II drugs and drug paraphernalia and violation of bail bonds.

Matthew James Lawrence, 27, of Tooele, Utah, was arrested on a warrant for dangerous drugs.

Jeffery Paul Noland, 29, of Craig, was arrested for possession of schedule I/II drugs and drug paraphernalia, violation of bail bonds and on a warrant for bond violations.

Kerri Denise Orr, 34, of Craig, was arrested on a warrant for possession of amphetamines out of Montezuma County.

Martin Palma-Medina, 36, of Meeker, was booked into Moffat County Jail on an ICE hold.

Robert Joseph Bevard, 23, of Arvada, was arrested on a warrant for failure to comply.
