On Monday, the Wyman Museum opened under its summer hours. The museum, 94350 U.S. Highway 40, will be open six days a week, closed on Wednesdays.

Donations needed for local crafters
A group of local crafters are trying to make items for area nursing homes and veterans and are accepting donations of yarn, embroidery floss, small beads and/or pearls, fabric and batting material.

ILC hosts awareness committee meeting
The Disability Awareness Day Committee is scheduled to meet at 5 p.m. Thursday at the Independent Life Center, 483 Yampa Ave. The meeting is open to the public.

New semester of ESL classes under way
Integrated Community started a new semester of English as a Second Language classes Monday in the basement of St Michael Catholic Church’s office, 678 School St.
For beginners, the classes are open from 6 to 8 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays.
For intermediate and advanced learners, classes are from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Bingo scheduled for Saturday at Legion
American Legion Post 62 bingo is Saturday at the Elks Lodge, 43 W. Victory Way.
Doors open at 5 p.m., and games begin at 6:15 p.m.
The event is open to the public.
