City, county ready to handle new year problems
As the community and the nation enters the year 2000, it is uncertain what problems, if any, might be encountered.
As a precaution, and to enable local government to offer uninterrupted emergency services in the event that problems do occur, several locations in Moffat County will be staffed and available for public assistance.
On New Year’s Eve and into New Year’s Day, emergency operations centers will be open at Craig City Hall and Dinosaur Elementary School in Dinosaur. Centers will be also open in Maybell and Hamilton, if needed.
In the event that problems occur and assistance cannot be obtained by telephone, the public is advised to go to the following locations for assistance:

Craig: For emergency assistance go to City Hall, 300 W. Fourth St.
