Candidates certified for November city council, mayoral election in Craig

The City of Craig has certified candidates for mayor and city council following the issuance of certificates of sufficiency, according to City Clerk and Human Resources Director Katie Carmody.
In an email to the Craig Press, Carmody said Mayor Chris Nichols will run for re-election. Five candidates have also been certified to run for three open city council positions.
Those candidates are Shawnna Elmore, Michelle Gottschall, Joe Herod, Denise Ray Kleinschnitz and Jnl Linsacum.
