High school seniors and college students may enter the 2012 Heart Behind the Oval Community challenge for a chance to win scholarship money.

Sponsored by Ford Motor Company, students are asked to submit a brief video or photo essay on the Ford Blue Oval Scholars Facebook page.

According to a news release, the video or photo essay should showcase current community work and outline a future project that could be completed with more funding.

Based on voting, the top three submissions will win a grand prize of $2,500 college scholarship and a $2,500 grant to a partnering nonprofit to complete a future service project the company said in the release.

The challenge runs from now until December 14.
