Brenda Lou Hillewaert: 1956-2004

Ridgecrest, Calif resident Brenda Lou Hillewaert passed away Thursday, Aug. 19, 2004, at her home. She was 48.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 28, at 1:30 p.m., at Holland & Lyons Chapel in Ridgecrest. Pastor Bill Corley of Crossroads Community Church will officiate.

Hillewaert was born May 7, 1956, in Hayden, Colo. She lived in Bermuda for three years before moving to Ridgecrest in 1985. She worked for Carriage Inn for 16 years before becoming a Navy housing assistant for BMar & Associates.



She loved her flower gardens, and enjoyed cooking and baking.

Hillewaert is survived by her husband, Leon P. Hillewaert of Ridgecrest; son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Nicole Hillewaert of Phoenix; son, Zachary Hillewaert of Costa Mesa, Calif.; daughter, Heather Hillewaert of Corona, Calif.; mother Doris Graham of Craig, Colo.; sisters Laura Coen of Powell, Wyo., and Karen Evanoff of Craig, Colo., and mother-in-law Mary Lou Hillewaert of Craig, Colo.
