BLM to burn slash piles on Cedar Mountain

The Bureau of Land Management will be burning slash piles on Cedar Mountain on Saturday, weather permitting, and smoke may be visible northwest of Craig.

According to a BLM news releases, there are about 20 small piles generated from a hazardous fuels reduction project designed to reduce the threat of wildfire to the communications infrastructure on Cedar Mountain.
