Obituary: Paul A. Kawcak

Paul A. Kawcak passed away on November 21, 2020 at the age of 92 from complications of Covid.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Panko and Julia Kawcak. He was also preceded in death by his wife Louise and two sons, Douglas and Robert.
Paul was also preceded in death by his 12 brothers and sisters and one grandchild, David Kawcak.
Surviving family includes his children Terry, Connie and Kurtis and his 3 brothers, Dan, Bob and Ivan, two grandchildren, Shawn and Shannon, and numerous nieces and nephews .
Paul moved to New Mexico in 1959 and raised his family by working construction, including heavy equipment and cranes. Paul was a master craftsman at carpentry, auto mechanics, welder and his favorite job, long haul trucking.
Paul was an avid hunter and fisherman and grew up on the Kawcak homestead ranch outside of Craig. He loved riding horses, farming, ranching and spending time at the Kawcak ranch.
Paul spent his last few years socializing with his family and friends at the local hangouts. He lived life to the fullest and enjoyed it to the very end. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was well respected and loved by many.
Cremation has taken place at Callahans mortuary in Grand Junction . A memorial for Paul will be pending for late Spring. We would like to thank the staff at Craig Memorial hospital for the kindness showed to our dad and the continued prayers and support our family and friends showed us throughout this ordeal.
