Marlene JoAnn Griffin, aged 88, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2024, in Craig, CO. Marlene was born April 5, 1936, married James Griffin April 28, 1957 (46 years), had five children and lived a full life cherished by her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, quilting, pinochle, going to Bronco and Rockies games, and her kitty Bella. Marlene was beloved by her family and is survived by her brother Norman, her children, Jerry, Nancy (Seichter), Gary, Richard, and Donald, along with thirteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Marlene was preceded in death by her husband (James Griffin), her parents (Olaf and Minnie Johnson) and siblings Melvin, Grace (Mathesen), Orin, Kenneth and Margaret (Smithburg). Marlene’s life was marked by her dedication to her family, and she will be remembered for her warmth, resilience, and the loving home she created for her loved ones. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
