Long time Craig resident David Jay Bird passed away peacefully in his home in Syracuse, UT on July 30, 2023.
Services were held Saturday August 5th, 2023 in Syracuse, UT
Dave was an electrician at Colowyo Coal mine for many years.
Dave was sealed to his eternal companion Paulette Nead in the Salt Lake City temple on July 11, 1980. Dave and Paulette welcomed 5 children into their home, Mendy, Shannon, Camillia, Jeremy, and Kalie. He truly valued and loved his family.
Dave was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and dedicated his life teaching, serving, loving, ministering, and helping others come unto Jesus Christ.
Dave worked part-time for the Craig Fire Department for about 6 years. Dave enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with his friends and family.
