Daniel Scott Foster, age 65, passed away unexpectedly July 16,2021.

Daniel was born April 9, 1956 to George Theron Foster and Romaine (Hanzon) Foster in Cedar City, Utah. The family later moved to Craig, CO where he met his wife Sheri Lee (Szlapka) Foster in 1978.

Dan and Sheri were married April 7, 1979 going on to have 2 sons, John Daniel Foster and David Sean Foster.

Dan worked at Trapper Mine where he met many of his close friends who became family.

Dan loved spending time with family and friends enjoying the outdoors fishing, boating, camping, four wheeling and snowmobiling. After retiring Dan and Sheri enjoyed traveling the Southwest exploring the desert and meeting new friends. This is also where they rescued Gigi, their beloved chihuahua who adored Dan.

Dan was predeceased by his father Theron and mother Romaine.

He is survived by his wife Sheri, his son John and wife BobbieJo, son David and wife Amanda; grandson Torin; siblings Michael Theron Foster, Kenneth Anthony Foster, Nancy Lynn (Foster) Tevault, Laura Lee (Foster) Golden, Lisa Marie (Foster) Pinto and Jeffrey Allen Foster; 15 nieces and nephews and many friends.

A celebration of Dan’s life will be held at 3:00 pm, Friday, July 30, 2021 at the Luttrell Barn in Craig (food starting at 4:00 pm). Please join the family for good memories, music, and food to celebrate our Husband, dad, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend. All food will be provided. Please bring your beverage. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made to St. Judes.
