4:26 a.m. Officers with the Craig Police Department responded to a domestic violence call in Craig.

5:01 a.m. On the 800 block of Columbine Street, officers responded to a road kill call.

7:54 a.m. On the 1300 block of West Victory Way, officers responded to a stolen vehicle call.

8:13 a.m. Near the intersection of Washington Street and Craig City Park, officers responded to a possible crash with injuries.

8:35 a.m. Police responded to a possible child abuse/neglect call in Craig.

10:14 a.m. On the 1600 block of Yampa Avenue, officers responded to a report of a civil problem.

11:34 a.m. On the 700 block of Rose Street, officers responded to call related to a possible property damage crash.

3:42 p.m. In Craig, officers responded to a sexual assault call.

7:05 p.m. On the 600 block of Finley Lane, officers responded to a theft call.

Craig police mediate love gone wrong: On the Record — Jan. 9

12:06 a.m. On the 800 block of Ashley Road, officers with the Craig Police Department responded to a report of harassment. Police said a suspect was texting a former love interest. The suspect had reportedly been driving by the former love interest’s home. Officers mediated the situation.

7:24 a.m. On the 1300 block of West Victory Way, officers arrested a 52-year-old Craig man on a warrant from another police agency.

8:22 a.m. On the 1300 block of West Victory Way, officers responded to a collision between a Subaru Forester and a flatbed truck. The Subaru was driveable, despite some damage, and a citation was not issued, according to police. No injuries were reported.

11:15 a.m. In Craig, officers responded to a Safe 2 Tell call in Craig and are investigating.  

11:55 a.m. On the 900 block of West First Street, officers attempted to execute a warrant after the public provided information about the whereabouts of a possible wanted subject in Craig.

12:40 p.m. On the 800 block of Yampa Avenue, officers responded to a request to serve a notice of no trespassing to an adult and a juvenile after an alleged theft from a Kum & Go convenience store.

2:39 p.m. Near the intersection of Cresent Drive and U.S. Highway 40, officers responded to a pedestrian contact call. Police said a 19-year-old Craig female was arrested on a warrant from another police agency.  

4:27 p.m. On the 900 block of West First Street, officers responded to a theft call. Police said tools were taken from a trailer park in Craig. The incident is under investigation.

6:35 p.m. Near the intersection of the Finley Lane and West Victory Way, a Honda Pilot and a Buick passenger vehicle were involved in a fender bender. After making an initial call to police dispatch, drivers called and said no police were needed. No injuries were reported.

8:45 p.m. At the Frontier apartments in Craig, officers responded after male reportedly refused to leave the premises, and management wanted a no trespassing notice served. The male left the scene prior to police arrival, and officers are searching for the subject to serve the notice of no trespassing.
