Ronald Cox

October 20, 1958 – June 8, 2021

Ronald Wayne Cox SR of Craig Colorado was born into this world on October 20, 1958 in Florence Colorado to James and Lola Cox. Ron went to Heaven on June 8, 2021. Survived by his wife, Sally of 42 years and three children, Jamie (Jeremy), Rita (Fernando) and Ron II (Amanda). His Brothers Gerald, James, Herald, Timothy and Sisters Kimberly and Barbra. Preceded in death by Father James Cox, Uncle Richard Cox, Grandparents Melvin & Helen Cox and Alberta & Francis Langloss. Ron drove a log truck for 25 years for the Cox Brother Sawmill. He also cut trees, skidded and bucked timber. Ron also worked for the Colorado Department of Transportation keeping our roads safe and cleared of snow for over 17 years. He always had a smile on his face and a helping hand for anyone who needed it. During his free time, Ron enjoyed gardening, making salsa and spending time with his wife, family and friends. He will be greatly missed. Please contact Grant Mortuary for Celebration of Life date and time.
