March 21, 1930 – October 4, 2020

Mrs. Patty A.(Osborn)Nicodemus,90,was called home to her beloved Heavenly Father 4 Oct 2020. Patty, the oldest of five, was born in Grand Junction to Marion and Lila Osborn. She lived most of her life in rural Colorado with the exception of a short period in New Mexico. Patty attended and graduated from Moffatt County High School. She attended college in California. Returning to Colorado, she applied for a teaching certification and taught in a rural area until she met and married Richard (Dick) Nicodemus on June, 4th 1950. Their union was blessed with five children. Patty was a loving wife and mother. She is remembered for her love of the Lord and family. She had a keen intellect and was a lifelong learner. Her absolute favorite subject was the study and discussion of the Bible, which brought her great joy and fulfillment all the days of her life. She is survived by her Sister’s: Jeanne Durham, Joanne Netz; Brothers and Spouses: Charles and Ginger Osborn, Larry and Reta Osborn. Children and spouses: Bernie and Darlene Nicodemus, Dedra Hevey, Virginia and David Gionet, Queda Nicodemus, Reta Sullivan along with 8 Grandchildren, 9 Great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Two of her daughters where able to be at her side during her last days, a true blessing giving the current times. A memorial service will be planned at a future date to commemorate her life. In lieu of flowers the family asks to make donations to Northwest Colorado Hospice or Memorial Regional Health Hospice in care of Grant Mortuary.
