August 6, 1931 – July 31, 2021

Elva Lee Banks Foulk went to be with our Lord Saturday, July 31, 2021. Funeral services were held Sat., Aug. 7, 2021, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Craig. Graveside services were held Tues., Aug. 10 at the Las Animas Cemetery. Elva Lee Banks was born on August 6, 1931 on the O’Brien Ranch in Bent County in 1931 to Estel Banks and Mable McClaskey Banks. She graduated high school in Las Animas in 1949 and married Robert George Foulk in 1950. Three boys: Michael D. Foulk (Becky), Steven J. Foulk (Nancy), and Douglas Clay Foulk (Michelle) were born to this union. She had 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren who she loved dearly. Bob and Elva contracted school busses for Las Animas schools for 28 years. They had raised cattle and in their later years repaired then sold mobile homes. For fun they traveled with an Airstream travel group for 9 years. They saw the lower 48 and Mexico. Elva was an accomplished seamstress and many enjoy her handiwork today. She was an active member of the LDS Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Elva’s memory to the Moffat County Cancer Society in c/o Grant Mortuary.
