Donna Irene (Baker) Mead, born in Rock Springs WY, started her life in the oil fields in northwest Colorado. At a young age she and her family moved to Maybell, CO, where they lived thru her high school graduation. She was married to Charlie Mead of Hamilton, CO. She lived in Moffat and Route Counties over the years, but has spent the majority of her life in Moffat County. She enjoyed gardening, knitting and crocheting, she also made a lot of beaded jewelry. She spent the past year fighting cancer at home with her family. We would like to thank Northwest Colorado Health Nurses and staff along with all the friends and family that were so supportive through the past year. She was proceeded in death by her father William J. Baker. She will be missed by her mother Mary Baker, brother Daniel Baker, husband Charlie Mead, son Cole Mead, daughters Tina mead and Carla Halgren (Jim Halgren) and grandson Samuel Halgren.
