Young Life dessert banquet scheduled for Sunday

Bear River Young Life will host its annual banquet at 5:30 p.m. Sunday at the Moffat County Fairgrounds Pavilion.

The youth ministry organization hosts the event each year to update people in the area on the impact positive influences have on local teens and adolescents.

This year’s theme is “Our Kids, Our Community” and will highlight the examples of leadership within the group.

The evening begins with a pasta bar before moving on to Director David Pressgrove’s presentation, accompanied by a selection of desserts provided by Moffat County High School catering students.

Free child care during the banquet will be available at The Journey at First Baptist, 1150 W. Ninth St.

All are welcome at the free event, but RSVPs through email are preferred to get an accurate count for attendance.
