Woman arrested after stabbing

Matt Stensland

— The Routt County Sheriff’s Office thinks a 27-year-old Yampa woman arrested Friday stabbed her husband.

The husband was treated for the injury at Yampa Valley Medical Center and released.

“The allegation is that he was stabbed with a knife,” Undersheriff Ray Birch said.

Lindsay N. Bergman was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault, criminal mischief, violation of a protection order and violation of bail bond conditions.

The incident was reported at about 4 a.m. Friday in the 32500 block of Ute Trail.
