Wellness Tip: Stay safe while participating in fireworks — be aware of the heat
It’s time to celebrate the Fourth of July.
In this hot, dry, climate, it’s wise to leave fireworks to the professionals. Did you know that two out of five fires reported on July 4 are started by fireworks?
These hot, dry conditions increase the fire danger.
The safest way to enjoy fireworks is to attend the fireworks display sponsored by our community at dusk the evening of the 4th. For more information about fireworks safety, visit http://www.nfpa.org.
