Weekend Roundup: Military honors, music and magic

Craig Daily Press Staff Report

The days are getting shorter now that autumn has definitively arrived, but whether it’s during daylight hours or late into the night, here are several options for weekend happenings.

Armed with respect

The Moffat County High School Friday football game with Resurrection Christian is also the site of Veterans Appreciation Night as the team and community shows soldiers their due.

In addition to ceremonial parts of the evening, the Local Marketing District will be giving away free t-shirts to the first 200 adults who attend.

Following the game will be multiple Fifth Quarter activities provided by Bear River Young Life and Grand Futures Prevention Coalition. A movie night for high school ages complete with a surprise feature will be available, as will bowling for middle school students.
