The play’s the thing …
The 72nd annual Craig Kiwanis Club Play takes the stage in March, and ticket sales for the annual satire of all current events at the local, state and national levels will take place Saturday with a kickoff party at JW Snack’s Bar Grill.
Get tickets to the region’s favorite adult entertainment early, because they won’t be available at the door. Proceeds go toward the organization’s scholarship funds for local students.
When: 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday

Moffat County High School boys and girls basketball hoops teams will host their final regular season games Saturday against the Cedaredge Bruins. MCHS boys will be playing for a home advantage during the district tournament, while girls seek a pair of victories — both Saturday at home and Friday in Delta — to claim a 3A Western Slope League championship.
The order of games is girls junior varsity, boys JV, girls varsity and boys varsity.

Hop to it with hockey
Craig Youth Hockey Association will host a dance Saturday at the Moffat County Fairgrounds Pavilion.
All ages are welcome at the event, though chaperones are required for children age 10 and younger.

Dive in for civic action
Recent developments with the Moffat County High School swimming pool and its impending closure have led community members to form the group Build a Pool for Craig, which will meet Monday at Craig City Hall. Be part of the solution to help provide more aquatics opportunities for all ages.
