Outdoor fun is all around in Northwest Colorado this weekend.
Homemade goodness
The Downtown Craig Farmers Market takes place each Friday afternoon at Alice Pleasant Park.
The gathering is full of local vendors selling homegrown produce, homemade delicacies, specialty artisan crafts and other unique goods.
Organizers are also taking applications for additional booths.
A special drum circle presentation will take place at 3 p.m. each week, as well, and all are welcome to join.

Helping hand
Moffat County Fuller Center for Housing will host the cyclists of the Fuller Center Bicycle Adventure, a cross country trip, Friday evening.
The community is invited to a free barbecue to welcome and meet the riders.
Saturday will be a workday as riders aid locals with improvement projects, including the center's Yampa Avenue building.

Sky high
The Dinosaur Open continues through Saturday. As part of a daily competition in hang gliding bringing together athletes from near and far, gliders will launch each day from Blue Mountain's Cliff Ridge near Dinosaur, with landings planned in multiple regional towns, including Craig, Meeker, Rangely and more.

Wish for fish
Colorado Parks and Wildlife will host the Elkhead Reservoir Fishing Classic starting this Saturday at Elkhead Reservoir State Park. Cash prizes are offered for anglers, including $1,500 apiece for the fishers who snag a tagged northern pike and a tagged smallmouth bass.
Additional sums of $750 each go toward the sportsman who catches the most total pike and most bass during the nine-day event. Many other prizes totaling $4,500 will be offered daily for smallest, largest and greatest number of fish given out by 5:30 p.m. each day.
There is no limit for how many northern pike or smallmouth bass can be caught.
When: Contest starts at 6:30 a.m. Saturday and continues through July 2
