Shop ’til you drop

The Winter Arts and Crafts Show runs today and Saturday at Centennial Mall and will feature dozens of local vendors providing homemade gifts and holiday specialties, such as ceramics, metal work, candles, ornaments and more.

Santa’s Workshop will also be open for families.

Trees, please

The sixth annual Festival of Trees is on display at Moffat County Courthouse through January. The theme for this year’s holiday extravaganza is Christmas Around the World and features trees trimmed creatively by multiple area organizations.
A special weekend version is set for Saturday with family activities, such as cookies with Santa Claus.

When: Open to the public 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday through Jan. 5; 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday

Down home fun

The fourth annual Down Home Christmas Celebration in Alice Pleasant Park offers family fun in downtown Craig, with cookies, hot cocoa, s’mores, roasted chestnuts and other treats, as well as live music and an appearance by Santa Claus.

Glad tidings we bring

“Unto Us” Christmas Cantata will take the stage Sunday at First Congregational United Church of Christ, offering a selection of holiday musical favorites. Proceeds from the performance will benefit Interfaith Food Bank and next year’s show.

Cookie craze

Moffat County Senior Social Center will host a cookie exchange Thursday, Dec. 14 at Colorado Northwestern Community College’s Bell Tower Building. Participants are asked to bring two dozen or more of their favorite kind of cookies to share.

Holiday music will be provided by Cedar Mountain Strings.
