Mr. and Mrs. Cleve Preece announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Preece to Patrick Svoboda, son of Tom and Kathy Svoboda of Sterling.
Preece has been employed as a teacher and coach at Moffat County High School.
Svoboda was employed at Kennecott Energy Coly-Wyo Coal Mine.
After an August wedding, the couple will make their home in Sterling.
