Sealed bids must be submitted on the Board’s Multiple Use Application, Agricultural Lease Application, or Recreational Lease Application, with a check for the $100 non-refundable application fee, a Resource Management Questionnaire, a recreation plan, and a separate check for the full amount of the first year’s rental bid. Application may be made for a multiple use (ten-year lease), grazing (ten-year lease) or recreation (five-year lease) or just one of the two separate leases by different individuals. Although revenue is important, that will not be the only criteria used in selecting a new lessee. Other criteria will include the grazing plan, recreational plan, verifiable stewardship practices, affect on the stability of the local agricultural community, and verifiable outfitters license, if appropriate. Interested parties must request an application from the District Manager listed below. The words “Sealed Bid for the “Warrick Property Auction” must be clearly marked on the outside of the sealed envelope. Sealed bids received via facsimile or electronic mail will not be considered.
